Jody Owen, founder of The Space You're In, has been getting people in shape for years. Organizational shape, that is. And now Owen has announced a new workshop just for the people who need it the most - the managers, administrative staff, and clerical support that keep a business running smoothly. Tight spaces and cluttered offices are about to get a workout.
Owen has been helping individuals organize their business and personal lives for years, and is proud to be a charter member and president of the National Association of Professional Organizers Arizona. For her, it made sense to bring these techniques to the workforce, where having an organized space is critical.
"It's good clean fun. And it makes life so much easier," said Owen. "There are so many things in life that are out of our control, so we need to take charge of what's in our space. When you're organized, you can handle almost anything that comes your way."
'The Space You're In' Workshop will be held on September 21st, from 9am to 4pm and includes lunch.
"This workshop is an investment," said Owen. "Look at it this way, if I told you you could save an hour a week after spending 8 hours at this workshop (which is easy to do), after 8 weeks you'd make the time back you spent in the seminar plus you'd start gaining an hour each week. It's a no-brainer."
