ITelagen Announces Bay Area Systems Integrator PortableCIO is Now Part of its Strategic Partner Network
Partnership extends end-to-end IT management for small organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area.
San Francisco, (PRWEB) August 16, 2007 -- ITelagen, the innovative provider of flat-rate virtual IT services, today announced the addition of PortableCIO to its Strategic Partner Network. The partnership will allow PortableCIO to deploy end-to-end management systems and solutions to organizations across the greater San Francisco Bay area. ITelagen will provide PortableCIO customers with back-end IT services, including remote management, monitoring and help desk support, through its operations center in Jersey City, New Jersey, while PortableCIO will handle on-site services.

Recently, PortableCIO, and ITelagen supported an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) deployment at Muir Medical Group's Contra Costa County-based physician office network. PortableCIO rolled out Cisco equipment, including Aironet wireless equipment, routers and pix firewalls. After the deployment, ITelagen took over the back-office IT support, providing each location on-demand IT service and support. In the future, Muir Medical Group IPA will be rolling out EMR solutions to more than 700 practices of varying sizes. PortableCIO will install the equipment and systems locally, while back-office support is provided by ITelagen.
