PNC Names Robert Dye as Senior Economist
The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. announced today the addition of Robert A. Dye, Ph.D., as vice president and senior economist. Dye joins PNC's Economics team led by Stuart Hoffman, chief economist.
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) August 16, 2007 -- The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. announced today the addition of Robert A. Dye, Ph.D., as vice president and senior economist. Dye joins PNC's Economics team led by Stuart Hoffman, chief economist.
Dye will contribute to PNC's analysis and forecasts of key economic and financial trends nationwide and globally. In addition, he will provide regional economic analysis for the eight states and 18 major metropolitan areas within PNC's core economic footprint that includes Delaware, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and the Greater Washington D.C. Area.
Dye joins PNC from Realpoint, a division of Capmark Investments, where he provided analysis of economic events and major indicators and their implications on the commercial real estate markets. His professional experience also includes senior economist for Moody's Economy.com and Wharton Econometrics. He earned a bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering at Marietta College, a master's degree in Natural Resources from Ball State University, and a doctorate in Energy Management and Policy at the University of Pennsylvania.
