SMARTBOX, a leader in portable moving and storage services is now entering South Florida with a location in West Palm Beach.

With its entry into West Palm Beach - the company's second foray into Florida (Jacksonville) - SMARTBOX has opened 12 new franchises in the past year and a half and boasts a national footprint that stretches from coast to coast.
Since the start of 2006, SMARTBOX has opened or announced franchises in Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Jacksonville, Fla., Los Angeles (opening next month), Minneapolis/St. Paul, New Orleans, Raleigh, N.C., and San Antonio. The West Palm Beach franchise (warehouse will be located at 3900 Fiscal Ct. Suite 700 in Riviera Beach) is expected to open in early September and service areas from Boca Raton to Port St. Lucie and points in between.

SMARTBOX, founded in 2004, enables residential and commercial users to pack and load their belongings at their convenience in containers that are 8 feet long, 7 feet tall and 5 feet wide and can hold the contents of up to 1½ rooms (3,000 pound capacity).
When they've finished packing their Smartboxes, users can call SMARTBOX to pick them up and deliver them for storage in one of its secure warehouses or moving to another location - across town or across the country - through its SMARTCARE service. Some users store their Smartboxes at their homes or offices.
