Actress and designer Christina Fulton is lending a generous hand towards alleviating the plight of underprivileged mothers across the United States. The philanthropic motion picture and television actress and emissary for single parents is bringing her goodwill tour to the Premier Men clothing store at the Beverly Center in Los Angeles on Wednesday, September 5 for a charity gala and the debut of her couture FULCAGE fashion line (http://www.fulcage.com).
The FULCAGE clothing line includes couture for women and men, T-shirts, onesies, dogwear and decorative mugs. FULCAGE clothing features fun and unique designs with bold and original artwork infused with a unique sense of originality that is on the cutting edge of fashion. Fulton's original designs are hand-cut, hand-sewn and made in America.
The September 5 Beverly Center charity gala will see an exciting assortment of unique headwear and apparel for women and men from Fulton's FULCAGE fashion collection including sporty hats, fashionable thermal long sleeve shirts, decorative tees and handsome hooded sweatshirts.
In July of 2006, Christina Fulton and her son, Weston Coppola-Cage, built a grass-roots foundation, The Single Mom Foundation, and clothing line, FULCAGE, dedicated to the cause of single mothers. The FULCAGE clothing line includes something for everyone: from women and men to babies -- even dogs.
However, the FULCAGE line is more than just a trend, it is a movement: clothing with a cause. FULCAGE is a charitable organization that gives back to the community. The proceeds from its clothing line go directly to single mothers via The Single Mom Foundation, contributing to the housing, education and careers of courageous single parents who make up a significant portion of our population.
Finally, a clothing line that is both trendy and innovative: clothing with a conscience -- a green business fully dedicated to looking ahead and to always giving back.
"There are over ten million single moms in America," said Ms. Fulton. "I want to be the ambassador for these women. I want to bring the basic wants and needs of single parents to the forefront. I will not rest until we as a country recognize the immense constituency that is single parents and their vast contributions to society."
The public affair will run from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at Premier Men (http://www.premiermen.com), a cutting edge men's clothier. Premier Men is located in the Beverly Center at 8500 Beverly Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90048, 7th Floor.
Adding their continued support to the star-studded, red carpet affair will be such luminaries as Nicolas Cage, Weston Cage, Thomas Jane, Patricia Arquette and Marla Maples among many others.*
