Fuzion Entertainment, an entertainment production company based in New York, officially launches its much anticipated website Indiefuze.com (http://www.indiefuze.com). This website, which will include material and concepts from many different genres, is the brainchild of Fuzion's founder Diriki Mack. "In this continuously growing world of web presence, I wanted to bring a new flavor, style and concept to the online audience. I didn't want it to be just the same old thing coming to the web," says Diriki, referring to the influx of songs and videos being sold and viewed on the Internet.
Indiefuze is an Online Production Network™ (OPN) that brings viewers exclusive content from some of their favorite artists, musicians, comedians, poets and more. It allows users access to an alternative perspective with unique material provided by an array of talented artists who are expressing their creativity outside the mainstream media. This includes shows developed for online use only, rare and never before seen footage, interviews, music and other content that will not be available anywhere else. "This will give another dimension to the artists for the fans to be excited about," states Diriki. "Especially when a show is developed and produced for their favorite artist and is for online use only." Much of this material is produced by Fuzion Entertainment to air "Exclusively on Indiefuze."
The first show airing on Indiefuze was developed for Tony Award® winning Def Poet Poetri. The show, titled "24 Hours of Poetri" chronicles a day in the life of Poetri as he navigates celebrity friends and family on his pursuit to put his own mark on Hollywood and the world at large. "Indiefuze is going to be the next big thing," states Poetri. "It's a place where people can check out shows and exclusive material from me and other rising stars."
Poetri will also provide impromptu interview clips and co-produce exclusive specials, shows and workshops for the website, including the well known "Poetri's Poetry Workshop" which was featured on the Ice Cube produced reality show "Black.White." "I'm really excited about the future of this project. People all over the world have been curious about 'Poetri's Poetry Workshop' and now I can finally be in several places at one time," Poetri concludes. It will be the first time in the workshop's history that it will be available as an online download for poets, actors and fans across the globe.
Called edgy, political and very funny by the L.A. Times, comedian Shang is another key contributor to Indiefuze. On Shang's page, he will provide never before heard commentary and exclusive video on subjects ranging from George Bush to American culture. Shang has recently co-starred on episodes of NBC's "Heroes," CBS's "CSI" and ABC's "Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen." "This website is socially relevant in a time when many voices are not being heard" says Shang. "The future is Indiefuze. Everyone talks about changing the game but they don't have the pieces (to do so). Indiefuze does!"
With the ever changing landscape of digital technology and the multitude of broadband websites available to users, Indiefuze is a refreshing change of pace. Offering a rare blend of music, video, poetry, comedy and more, Indiefuze delivers cutting edge material from a diverse group of powerful performers. And it's all exclusively on Indiefuze.
