The Florida Direct Marketing Association announces its Annual Summit will be held September 19-20 at the Westin Hotel Ft. Lauderdale. The 2007 Annual Summit, "From Demand Generation to Dialog Creation" has been re-designed and expanded over previous years to include both educational seminars and traditional networking and conference speakers. The two-day event consists of both pre-conference seminars on September 19 followed by the full-day conference Thursday September 20. Keynoted by Lois Geller, noted national direct marketing expert, the Annual Summit conference on September 20 includes multiple networking opportunities, programming tracks, and a top-notch line-up of speakers.

The event begins on September 19 with two full-day, pre-conference seminar workshops. Email Marketing Boot Camp will be taught by Karen Talavera, email marketing consultant and national DMA email marketing seminar instructor, while simultaneously Joe Laratro, search engine marketing expert and professional educator will lead an Advanced Search Engine Marketing full-day training session covering web site content, online press releases, blogs, page quality score, analytics, social media, and more.
The conference then kicks-off Thursday September 20 with a general session keynote by Lois Geller of Mason & Geller Direct. After the opening general session, simultaneous B-to-C, B-to-B and Small Business Marketing tracks then take participants through a series of presentations by USPS direct mail expert Deborah Llamas, Citrix VP Michele Lebowitz-Goebel, South Florida Business Journal Columnist and SOHO Expert Jeff Zbar, Bredin Business Information CEO Stu Richards and Miami attorney and direct marketing legal expert Roger Slade. The September 20 conference begins with registration, networking and continental breakfast at 8:30 a.m., includes a sit-down lunch, and concludes at 3:00 p.m.
The FDMA has made special savings available for those who register early and combined discounts are also available for participants who elect to attend both a pre-conference seminar and the main conference. Prices for combined seminar/conference attendance are $450 for FDMA members and $525 for non-members with a free six-month FDMA membership included in the non-member rate (a savings of $178). September 20 conference-only attendance is $99 for members, $119 for non-members with a $20 discount available for early registration by August 31 at http://www.fdma.org.
