Reston, VA (PRWEB) August 23, 2007
Intellitactics announces the appointment of Michael A. Cerick as Vice President, Strategic Alliances to expand the company's Partner Network. The Intellitactics Partner Network enables selected business partners, technology providers, and solution consultants to add world-class security information and event management (SIEM) products to their service and product portfolios. Intellitactics' security information and event management product suite offers solution partners an opportunity for security-process consulting; and business partners a way to increase revenues by building on Intellitactics' proposition for daily automated value for security organizations around the world.
Intellitactics serves a vibrant global market of Fortune 4000 companies and a fast-growing portfolio of public-sector organizations. The company has experience selling through partners outside North America and selling with high-profile solution providers, such as Lockheed Martin, Accenture, and IBM Global Services Canada in North America. The appointment of Cerick signals an accelerated effort to recruit a select number of partners to expand the Network, especially in North America.
"The addition of executive leadership for the Alliance program is not just about selling more software. We frequently find companies who postpone acquiring a SIEM or settle for logging appliances because they're concerned about their ability to quickly derive value from an investment in enterprise software. While Intellitactics is known for its thorough implementation services, we want to partner with companies that these companies know and trust in order to help them define processes for enterprise defense and compliance with regulatory standards," explains Kevin Carr, Vice President of Global Sales for Intellitactics.
In the newly created post, Cerick will drive the growth of the Partner Network Program and build on the growing demand for Intellitactics' enterprise security management products. "Mike Cerick is a veteran of the security management market. He understands the buyer's challenges, the technology offered by providers of point products, and what it takes to create satisfied customers," said Randall K. Davis, President and Chief Executive Officer for Intellitactics. "He is energetic, a believer in the kind of products we provide, and has demonstrated repeated success in developing successful channel programs."
Cerick joins Intellitactics from Global DataGuard, a provider of security risk management solutions for midsize companies, state governments, and federal agencies. Expert in business and market development, Cerick brings over 15 years of success in penetrating new markets, launching new products, and developing high-potential channel partners. "I've seen the success of implementing a hybrid sales model that shortens sales cycles and achieves desired distribution ratios without jeopardizing customer or channel loyalty. That's what I'm here to do at Intellitactics," said Cerick from the company's new regional office located in Charlotte, North Carolina. Previously, Cerick held executive positions at Scalable Software, Info Avenue, Covad Business Solutions, Integrated Communications, and MCI WorldCom.
