'Compression' - A Unique, New Punk Rock Novel

Tim Cundle, Editor-in -Chief of Mass Movement Magazine, the UK"s leading publication of the Punk Rock scene, pens his first novel to be released by Open Book Press.

Studio City, Calif. (PRWEB) August 24, 2007 -- There aren't too many people who know more about the punk rock scene than author Tim Cundle. The guy eats, sleeps, and plays the stuff. In short -- he's an expert. His bestselling new novel, Compression, is a sordid look into the life of fictional punk rocker, Flanagan.

After a successful road tour, Flanagan returns to his hometown and discovers that a murder case has been reopened. Unfortunately, it involves him.

"Tim has created an exciting storyline that benefits greatly from his personal experiences as a punk rocker," states publisher Doug Crill. "His novel crosses into virgin territory...there's nothing on the market that comes close to the style and content of Compression."

Adding to the novel's unique style is a powerful introduction written by Matt Davies -- vocalist of the mega-band -- Funeral for a Friend. The band's success continues to soar throughout the UK and Europe, as well as here in the states.

As for Tim Cundle, the picture for success couldn't be brighter. Besides his bestselling novel, Tim is Editor-in-Chief of Mass Movement (www.massmovement.co.uk) -- a magazine that covers everything from punk rock to Pro-Wrestling, including such topics as: Horror and B-Movies, comics, independent cinema and much more.

Tim also writes for Subba-Cultcha (www.subba-cultcha.com), one of the biggest alternative webzines on the planet.
