By giving members tools to use BlogHer.com to spotlight their blogging on their own sites, BlogHer continues to be the greatest single resource to find women who are blogging about every topic
Palo Alto, CA (PRWEB) August 23, 2007
BlogHer, Inc. (http://blogher.com), the Web's number-one guide to blogs by women, today announced a comprehensive Web site redesign to meet demands from bloggers and advertisers.
To meet BlogHer member demand, members, who have already listed more than 10,500 blogs by women on BlogHer.com, are now also invited to use the site to publish and to promote their latest blog writing and blog sites. By writing on BlogHer.com, community members join the 60 editors who write BlogHer's daily news service on 20+ hot topics among women online, from parenting, food, health and lifestyle to politics, news, business and technology. Also, all registered members may further promote their blogs by incorporating RSS headlines into their newly-expanded BlogHer profiles.
To meet advertiser demand, BlogHer.com now features video-enabled units that can accommodate both pre-roll and original content. The company also has begun to accept tasteful flash advertising on BlogHer.com, as well as across the 500+ blogs affiliated with BlogHer's advertising network.
"By giving members tools to use BlogHer.com to spotlight their blogging on their own sites, BlogHer continues to be the greatest single resource to find women who are blogging about every topic," said Co-founders Elisa Camahort, Jory Des Jardins and Lisa Stone in a joint statement today. "We are proud to re-launch BlogHer.com with new features that serve our mission to create opportunities for women who blog."
