Luis Alvarez, CEO of Grupo Aloymex and Team BioBuilde™ (MAP®) member, heads to Louisville Ironman for a fight to keep his Triathlon World Record. Luis holds the record of being the only man to compete in every Ironman venue in the world.

This year, the World Triathlon Corporation is featuring the newest Ironman event in Louisville, Kentucky. To keep his world record of being the only man who has competed in every Ironman venue in the world, Luis needs to race and finish this inaugural Ironman event in Louisville.

This may seem a relatively simple fete for any who isn't familiar with the 2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike and a 26.2-mile run that makes up the Ironman course.

Luis is very familiar with the challenges of the Ironman race having completed 48 Ironman, winning Ironman Revisited 2005, finishing 2nd in Hawaii CEO Challenge 2004, and 2nd in Lake Placid CEO Challenge in 2003. He even completed an astounding 10 of those races in one year. Luis provides training tips at

At one point in his life, Luis described himself as a common person who never exercised, smoked for 14 years and at age 24 weighted 200 pounds. Luis learned the lessons of exercise and discipline, which changed his life dramatically. And he found BioBuilde, the Master Amino Acid Pattern (MAP). This unique patented formula of the essential amino acids is created in the exact amounts and pattern-MAP for the human body to optimize endurance and protein recovery and to minimize injury.

BioBuilde (MAP) is 2 to 5 times more effective and 4 to 12 times faster absorption than meat, fish, soy or whey! BioBuilde (MAP) is 100% absorbed within 23 minutes and is 99% utilized to build body proteins. No other source of protein or amino acids can compare.

"At age 44, in the last year, I have been able to break my own personal records every year since taking BioBuilde (MAP)," says Luis.

Watch for the results of Ford Louisville Ironman to see how Luis fairs and if he keeps his record.

By the way, he will be doing his 50th Ironman 2 weeks after completing Ironman Louisville. He credits BioBuilde (MAP) as one of the key components in his training formula that enables him to do triathlons so close together.
