Many of Aquire's new customers are drawn by Unifi. When companies find out what Unifi can do for them, they want it
Irving, TX (PRWEB) August 27, 2007
Aquire, the leader in workforce planning and management solutions, today announced it has secured a spot on the first ever Inc 5,000 list of the fastest growing private companies in the United States. The Inc. 5,000, an extension of Inc. magazine's annual Inc. 500 list, catches many businesses that are too big to grow at the pace required to make the Inc. 500, as well as a host of smaller firms. Taken as a whole, these companies represent the backbone of the U.S. economy. The company was also recently recognized by the Metroplex Technology Business Council as one of the 50 fastest-growing technology companies in Dallas, as well as one of the 60 Best Companies to Work for in Texas.
The 2007 Inc. 5000 list measures revenue growth from 2003 through 2006. To qualify, companies must be U.S.-based and privately held, independent - not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies - as of December 31, 2006, and have had at least $200,000 in revenue in 2003, and $2 million in 2006.
"The Inc. 5,000 provides the most comprehensive look ever at the most important part of the economy - the entrepreneurial part," said Inc. 5,000 project manager Jim Melloan. "The expansion of the list has allowed us to tell the stories of larger companies, older companies, and a wealth of companies in industries like Manufacturing and Construction that are underreported in the business media."
In 1994, Aquire pioneered the automated organizational charting market with the introduction of OrgPublisher™. The solution continues to be the enterprise org chart solution choice among the Fortune 1000 as well as growing companies in the small and mid-market business categories. The product was also named by KMWorld as one of the Trend Setting Products of the year. Since that time, Aquire has remained on a steady growth path. In Q2 of this year, the company reported a growth of 18.25 percent compared to the same period last year - fueled in part by the acquisition of customers such as Allstate, SunTrust and other top-tier global organizations.
Lois Melbourne, chief executive officer of Aquire attributes much of the company's rapid growth to the expanding OrgPublisher customer base as well as a high adoption rate of the company's workforce planning and management solution, Unifi.
"Many of Aquire's new customers are drawn by Unifi. When companies find out what Unifi can do for them, they want it," said Melbourne. "Unifi is focused on helping companies plan and manage strategic workforce transitions. Due to the dynamic nature of workforces today, managing the current and future composition of an organization has become increasingly more difficult and costly. With Unifi, companies can streamline initiatives such as reorganizations, expansion planning, merger and acquisition workforce integration projects, as well as transitioning to new HR systems. People are our most valuable resource, and managing them and putting them in the right place at the right time is of strategic value. That's where Unifi and OrgPublisher both come in."
