CEO Ed Shull has left USWeb after founding the company nearly 6 years ago. Shull, who founded the search engine marketing firm in early 2002 (originally Click Squad, LLC), has formally announced his separation.

“I had a great time at USWeb, and we accomplished a lot over the past few years, but I feel like it's time for me to move on to something new.” says Shull.

Shull has acquired sole ownership of the link building network Blogitive and plans to market the service, along with other social media products under his new company, NetResults, LLC.

“NetResults is really a better reflection of where I feel the industry is heading, Schull says. "Social media products like Blogitive and Zudos are the types of things that excite me right now.”

The Blogitive network, created in 2005, allows bloggers to earn cash by blogging about new products and services. The network, which currently contains over 5,000 active bloggers, maintains about 200 different clients.
