The browse function lets members find new friends according to education, religion, or location preferences. Blogs can be sorted by the mood of the visitor to allow for current relevance. Other features include polls and quizzes.

MyArabPlace.com currently has 800 members and is growing every day. Meet Layalina, a single 25-year old Pisces from California; Eyacoub, a 37-year old Egyptian man, and big_snake, a 30-year old man from Jordan.

MyArabPlace is the brainchild of Johnny Khoury, a Palestinian living in San Jose. "Living as a minority is tough. It is hard to find others with similar interests and values. Starting this site has allowed me to connect with many other Arabs around the world, which has been a great experience for me. I know my members will enjoy it as I do."
