BackBeat media joins Association for Downloadable Media.

BackBeat Media today announced it had joined the Association for Downloadable Media (ADM) at the corporate membership level.

"With some of the leading podcasts in our network, we understand the need for an industry organization that can advocate on behalf of podcasters and videobloggers while helping us to develop industry standards and practices," said Dave Hamilton, president and co-founder of BackBeat Media. "With the level of expertise and experience in the founding membership, the Association for Downloadable Media is that organization and we are pleased to be joining."

The Association for Downloadable Media was formed in July 2007. According to its website "The ADM will support the needs of publishers, producers, advertisers, agencies, vendors, research/measurement companies, as well as hardware and software manufacturers who are involved with the production or distribution of downloadable media."
