LeapFrog Interactive Added to Inc 5000

Recent growth pushes interactive agency onto list of fastest growing companies in U.S.

Louisville, Kentucky (PRWEB) August 29, 2007 -- LeapFrog Interactive is pleased to announce that it has been selected to appear on the 2007 Inc. 5,000 list of the fastest-growing companies in America. This news comes only a month after the company announced the opening of a new office in Boston, Massachusetts to better serve the New England region, and the launch of a new company, LeapFrog Small Business, offering reseller web services to small business marketers.
   
The official rankings of the Inc. 5,000 list, including those by region and industry, will be made public on August 27, 2007. A ceremony honoring all honorees will be held during the 26th Annual Inc. 500 Conference and Awards Ceremony September 6-8 in Chicago. LeapFrog Interactive was the only company between 1-5MM in an advertising/marketing-related industry to be listed from Kentucky. There were only 38 companies total from KY (in all industries) that made the list.

The Inc. 5,000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2003 through 2006. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by the first week of 2003, and therefore able to show four full calendar years of sales. Additionally, they had to be U.S.-based, privately held, and independent--not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies--as of December 31, 2006. Revenue in 2003 must have been at least $200,000, and revenue in 2006 must have been at least $2 million.
