Content management system hailed by KMWorld Magazine for second straight year.

XyEnterprise, a leading developer of award-winning XML content management and multi-channel delivery solutions today announced that it has been named to the "Trend-Setting Product" list by KMWorld Magazine.

XyEnterprise's Contenta content management software received the prestigious honor for the second straight year. The company recently released Contenta DITA 1.4 for DITA-based solutions, and is on track to release a major new version of its flagship Contenta software in the first half of 2008.

The Trend-Setting Product list will be published in the September 2007 print issue of KMWorld Magazine, and is available online at http://www.kmworld.com. KMWorld editor Hugh McKellar says "XyEnterprise was acknowledged for its willingness to listen and serve its customers in useful and innovative ways."

"More than 650 individual products were considered by our team of editors, analysts, integrators and users," added McKellar. "For one product to make the list two years in a row is truly a feat of innovation, vision, and responsiveness."

Contenta is an XML, component-based content management software solution that allows users to dynamically create, edit, reuse and assemble multi-lingual content for automated publishing to multiple media, such as print, PDF, Web and IETM. It is a proven, scalable, and cost-effective tool that can be easily tailored to meet the needs of organizations of all sizes.

Contenta's newest offering, Contenta DITA 1.4, provides additional enhancements to the DITA 1.3 standard. Among the chief advancements are distributed workflow with integrated collaboration and review, as well as enhanced DITA author support. This latest version also extends DITA Specialization support to all out-of-the-box tools, supports the latest version of the DITA Open Toolkit, and provides seamless integration with the leading translation management systems.

"We are pleased to receive this distinction for the second year in a row, in large part because it is driven by our customers," says Debra Boczulak, Contenta Product Manager for XyEnterprise. "Customer input to the product development process has been invaluable in creating innovative enhancements to our product line."
