Abel Solutions, a leading Microsoft SharePoint solution provider, announced today that it has been selected by Lane Company, the full-service multifamily real estate firm, to deliver its Microsoft Office SharePoint Solution. The document management and information collaboration functionality behind SharePoint will be used to standardize Lane Company's due diligence process.
At a time when Atlanta-based Lane Company is undergoing rapid growth, standardization of processes and centralization of information has become critical to its success.

Abel Solutions will help Lane Company by creating a re-usable, centralized SharePoint template for capturing all of the information related to each development and acquisition project.

Lane's SharePoint solution will not only serve to standardize its process but will improve communications by permitting information sharing among the many groups both inside and outside of the company that are involved in each transaction.
A Resource Center will serve as a repository of best practices, templates and forms to help maintain consistency of deliverables among its increasingly decentralized resources.
Opportunity and Pipeline Tracking will be shared across the dynamic SharePoint environment -- and elevated for executive-level visibility -- instead of being stored in off-line spreadsheets.

An in-depth Discovery and Requirements Analysis phase was completed earlier this month. Implementation of the Due Diligence Portal is planned to begin in September.
