Robochan Announces Version 1.2 of Listz

Expanded Import/Export, Enhanced Drag&Drop, and Empowered Colors new in 1.2

Albuquerque, NM (PRWEB) August 30, 2007 -- On Friday Robochan (www.robochan.com) announced a new version of its popular organizer for the Macintosh. New features in this update include expanded import/export, support for Services, empowered colors, and enhanced drag&drop behaviors.

"It is important to us to make sure that our users can take full advantage of the power of Listz. This often means sharing their lists with co-workers, friends, or family, so we dramatically extended Listz's import and export capability," said Denise Eatherly, co-founder. Listz now exports media-rich PDF and RTFD files. These exports take full advantage of all the images, colors, and other helpful visual cues that Listz has to offer. Listz can now also export XML and OPML documents for use with other applications. The new version also supports import of structured XML and OPML files.

The addition of support for Apple's Services enables users to directly add content or links to Listz from within other applications, or the Finder, without having to launch Listz or switch out of the current application. Listz creates a new "Scrapbook" list for items created using services, making them easy to find.

"Color is one the most recognizable features of any object. We learn how to tell colors apart long before we learn their names. In Listz 1.2 we added several new features to take advantage that power of recognition and differentiation," said co-founder Chris Livingston. In this new version of Listz, users can create their own custom named colors and palettes. These new empowered colors can be searched, sorted, and exported. Custom user palettes let users create sets of colors to express their own style while forming complex relationships between items that are recognizable at a glance.

Robochan added several major new drag & drop features intended to make the process of organizing and arranging lists faster and easier. Entire tabs can now be dragged & dropped between lists or onto the desktop for an instant export. Users can now also easily move items to another tab in the same list without opening a new window by dragging and dropping items directly onto the tab graphics.

For users who are leveraging the power of Listz within a GTD system, two new item statuses were added, "Waiting" and "Delegated." (GTD, or "Getting Things Done" is David Allen's system for stress-free productivity.)

Pricing & Availability
Listz version 1.2 is available for download from Robochan's website (http://www.robochan.com) as a two-week free trial. A license key can be purchased from the Robochan online store (http://www.robochan.com/store/) for $39.95US. Listz 1.2 is a Universal Binary application that runs on Mac OS X 10.4 on both PowerPC and Intel architectures. It will also run on Mac OS X 10.3.9 on PowerPC processors.
