Humanity can communicate directly with God, but instead, chooses manmade religion as a go-between. Imagine if no religion existed--we would have a world without war! Denver, CO and Virginia Beach, VA (PRWEB) August 30, 2007 -- Humanity can communicate directly with God, but instead, chooses manmade religion as a go-between. Imagine if no religion existed--we would have a world without war! In The Book of Truth, author Jesse Milliken answers life's most challenging questions and shows you how organized religion is not necessary to obtain a real relationship with the Creator.

Outskirts Press is pleased to announce the publication of The Book of Truth. For thousands of years, humankind has sought the answers and reasons to our purpose here on Earth. Generations have attempted to form a connection with the Creator in order to understand our role in society. Churches, mosques, and temples have been built to the glory of a higher power and each day millions of people spend countless hours in ritualized prayer and meditation, hoping to find the answers to life's most provocative questions. But is all this ritual and tradition really necessary?

In The Book of Truth, author Jesse Milliken says what few people want to hear or believe--that you don't really need religion to get to God! In a candid interview, Milliken revealed the inspiration for the book.

I have been on this planet for 66 years. I knew at age seven I had a message to bring to humanity, but I didn't have a clue what that message was. I would not know until 1986, when I was working on a mountaintop in Saudi Arabia. That was when I read Toward the Light, a book by Johanne Agerskov, a Danish author, which was written in 1912, but not published until 1920. I became totally changed, a new person began to emerge. I had always prayed to God to lead me to the truth. And finally at my age 45 - He did. People were not ready for the information that was revealed by Mrs. Agerskov in 1920. I was not ready in 1986, but since then, I have received even more enlightenment.

This seminal work explains why you do not need an organized religious setting to connect with God in a very real way. Milliken shares what was revealed to him through inspiration and intuition, presenting his thoughts on subjects we have all wondered about, such as abortion, birth control, euthanasia, suicide, life after death, reincarnation, Hell, UFOs, and the workings of karma. The answers to life's most challenging and perplexing questions can be found in the pages of this book. You will walk away with a new respect for our wondrous planet, and you will never look at creation in quite the same way again.
