A Mom Celebration Weekend -- Helping Women Re-discover Themselves
Arizona sisters, Teresa Bacal and Loree Bischoff, have created Motherhood Redefined with the goal of focusing on the "Me" in MomMeHood. Their company hosts weekend events across the country whereby moms discover new tools and strategies to assist them from getting completely lost in their role as mom. Mothers attending not only have fun and get a much needed break, but learn why it's important to take themselves off the back burner, re-discover missing parts of their identity, their passions and their sensuality. Moms will be given a look at HOW and WHY they need to place as much value and focus on their own health and well being as they do on their family members. The company website is www.motherhoodredefined.com.
Cave Creek, AZ (PRWEB) August 30, 2007 -- Local sisters, Teresa Bacal and Loree Bischoff, have created Motherhood Redefined with the goal of focusing on the "Me" in MomMeHood.
"Being a mother is one of the most important jobs a woman takes on. After all, we are making people here! We pour every ounce of ourselves into this role, often times at our own expense" said Bischoff, a mother of two. "It's critical that mothers understand how to achieve a healthy balance in their lives so as not to compromise their own health and well-being in the process."
The company's annual valley event, Motherhood Redefined, is set for the weekend of Sept. 21, 2007, at the Carefree Resort and Conference Center in Arizona.
This extraordinary weekend promises to be lots fun, enlightening and a much deserved break for moms. They will be entertained, and take part in interactive workshops, seminars, and breakout sessions focusing on topics of interest to mothers of all ages including relationships, motivation, intimacy, health and wellness, financial insight, parenting, and time and stress management.
"Being a mom these days brings challenges that are different from the days when we were children. Many moms are suffering both emotionally and physically with a never-ending list of tasks, caretaking, working and household duties," said Bacal, a mother of one. "Our goal is to first of all celebrate motherhood but also expose moms to some unique approaches for reclaiming their sense of self-worth and re-igniting their spirits."
Confirmed speakers and presenters at the event include Men are From Mars, Women are from Venus author John Gray, comedienne and motivational speaker Kathy Buckley, life coach Allison Cabral, financial expert Anne Groth, intimacy expert and author Dr. Lana Holstein, organizational expert and author Eileen Roth and more. The weekend event will also include a fashion show by Dillards, a comedy performance by the 3 Blonde Moms, and a book fair by Barnes & Noble to benefit our non-profit partner, the Fresh Start Women's Foundation.
