Future Champions Program Helps Young Aussie Star to Reach her Dreams

Queensland based soccer player Lana Harch, a former recipient of funds from Elmore Oil Future Champions Program, has just recently been selected in the Matildas squad to contest the womens world cup in China, which is a testiment to the effect that well placed financial assistance can have a positive result for talented sporting stars.

Bendigo, VIC (PRWEB) September 13, 2007 -- In October 2006 the Elmore Oil Company launched the Future Champions Program which is funded by royalties from the sale of their leading sports pain relief product, Elmore Oil Sports. The programs ambassador, Australian Olympian, Kyle Vander Kuyp believes the Future Champions Program is vital for the success of sport in Australia

"Young athletes in this country are expected to train and compete at the highest level if they are to advance in their chosen field, often requiring them to travel great distances, at considerable expense to both them and their parents," says Vander Kuyp.

"The Future Champions Program provides young Australians the opportunity to benefit financially and it may very well be the difference for some of our budding champions of the future, in their bid for sporting success."

Funds are chanelled into the program through the sale of Elmore Oil Sports, a natural pain relief lotion now used across the country by thousands of athletes at both amateur and professional level.

The sports lotion is not only hailed as a breakthrough in pain relief, but the rapid anti inflammatory action of the product has proven revolutionary in assisting athletes to return quickly from soft tissue injury.

"We have been supported well by Australia's young sporting community," said Managing Director, Mark Linford "and we wanted to give something back to the community, so we felt that offering financial assistance to Australia's youth was a positive step."

Kyle Vander Kuyup is not only an ambassador for the program but also an avid user of the product himself. "I personally use Elmore Oil in my training and competition regime," he says, "and I thoroughly recommend Elmore Oil to both professional and amateur athletes alike - in fact anyone who enjoys participating in sport at any level."

Vander Kuyp has recently been involved at a coaching level with a group of indigenous Australian track & field athletes on a tour of Singapore. "The whole team will definitely be using the product as we need every advantage we can get," said Vander Kuyp

Athletes can apply for funding through the Future Champions Program by logging onto the companies website and completing a simple on-line application form.
