Ascend Media's Professional Services Division includes all brands associated with its Stagnito Communications Food, Beverage and Packaging Group, based in Deerfield, Illinois, and its Gaming Division brands, based in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Stagnito Communications, acquired by Ascend Media in January 2005 as part of its acquisition of Medical World Communications, publishes fifteen magazines, together with associated events and e-media products, and is the global leader in food, beverage and packaging communications and the largest information source for food, beverage and packaging in the world.
The Gaming Division properties, acquired as part of Ascend's March 2003 acquisition of Atwood Publishing and GEM Communications, is the leading magazine and eMedia publisher and tradeshow organizer for the substantial and growing gaming industry worldwide. The Gaming Group produces the industry's leading publications, International Gaming & Wagering Business and Casino Journal.
