MRA recently released the results of the four most requested MRA surveys, all of which contain 2007 wage and salary data for more than 600 jobs.

The Management Association (MRA) recently released the results of the four most requested MRA surveys, all of which contain 2007 wage and salary data for benchmark positions found in most organizations. These extensive surveys cover approximately 3,391 companies reporting for 85,198 employees, representing more than 685 job classifications. Due to the large number of respondents, these surveys represent the strongest data available representing local Wisconsin businesses of all types and sizes, and include:

  • 2007 National Executive Compensation Survey: Contains data from 1,595 organizations throughout the United States reporting compensation information for 11,517 executives in 34 jobs. Wisconsin data from this report for 260 companies can also be found in the 2007 Wisconsin Executive Compensation Survey.
  • Managerial, Supervisory and Professional Salary Survey: Contains data from 657 organizations in Wisconsin reporting information for 15,253 employees in 216 jobs. As variable pay grows increasingly important in compensation plans for exempt employees, a new section was added to this survey covering types of plans, average amount paid out, and factors and frequency of payouts.
  • 2007 Non-Exempt Wage Survey: Contains data from 680 organizations in Wisconsin reporting information for 19,497 employees in 171 jobs. Industries represented in this survey include manufacturing, service/non-manufacturing, financial/insurance/real estate, and health care.
  • Wage Survey of Industrial Jobs Survey: Contains data from 459 organizations in Wisconsin reporting information for 38,931 employees in 264 jobs. The participation rate and number of employees reported remained steady this year, demonstrating a continuing positive trend for manufacturing companies.

"Our members rely on data from these surveys to help them benchmark efforts and make solid compensation decisions," said Bonni Yordi, Ph.D., MRA's Director of Surveys and Business Research.
