Online Chat Support Launched by RezOvation

RezOvation customers, from B&Bs and inns to hotels and motels, can now communicate directly with a live support rep in Austin, Texas, by just opening a web browser.

"Online chat support has three big advantages for small properties. First, guests always come first; the chat session can wait until innkeepers have assisted them," explained Chief Operating Officer John Banczak. "Second, properties get an emailed record of the conversation to review any time. Since most support calls request advice on how to use the system better, being able to reference the tips in the future is extremely valuable. Last but not least, there's no need to tie up your phone line."

Over the past two years RezOvation has launched a number of new products and programs geared towards giving its customer base better service and support. In 2005 RezOvation began using Salesforce.com for CRM and bug reporting needs. Around the same time, RezOvation enabled automatic retrieval of unlock codes via the RezOvation website and made the activation of RezOvation products simpler and easier. RezOvation has experienced record sales growth fueled by the launch of the RezOvation GT product, and by becoming a Microsoft Certified Partner. RezOvation has grown its staff to include five full-time support reps, four Microsoft® Certified Professional (MCP) developers on staff, two full-time product managers, and two sales reps. RezOvation GT is the new property management software with an easy-to-use Guest Tracker-style interface. Integration with Microsoft Office for unlimited custom email and print templates, list management, and reporting is a key feature of RezOvation. Additionally, RezOvation employs powerful marketing tools which allow users to create virtually limitless custom filters and build customized searches from customer or reservation lists, and then export the list to Excel.
