WheyUP LLC, makers of WheyUP the Original Protein Drink with Energy, signed a deal with Atlanta-based Fizz in which Fizz will become WheyUP's word-of-mouth marketing agency of record. In conjunction with WheyUP's national launch, Fizz will implement marketing campaigns in key markets across the country using Fizz's industry leading brand building techniques.

WheyUP, the first product of its kind that combines a protein drink with an energy drink, will be sold nationally at GNC's top 200 corporate stores in late September 2007. WheyUP combines 20 grams of whey protein with an energy formula in a sugar-free, non-carbonated beverage. WheyUP will be offered in wild berry and tropical citrus flavors in new ready-to-drink 16-ounce plastic bottles. Previously, the sports beverage was sold in 16-ounce cans in the Phoenix test market.
