Despite only launching at the beginning of July, online recruitment website Headhuntme.co.uk has already been nominated in the category 'Best Innovation in Online Recruitment' at the National Online Recruitment Awards 2007. This nomination is well deserved from a website that is set to revolutionise the way people search for jobs.

Chris Vass from Headhuntme.co.uk says "We received a phone call telling us that we have been nominated for the award and, naturally, we are delighted! It has come as a bit of a shock when we have only just launched, but we are very happy that our clients -- both candidates and recruiters -- are already impressed enough with our service to nominate us."

Headhuntme.co.uk's innovative approach is already attracting an extremely high calibre of candidate which it attributes to its anonymous registration process. "Due to the anonymity our site affords candidates, we are attracting a significant volume of high grade applicants" says the company's CEO, Chris Vass, "and, in turn, a vast number of recruiters and companies are signing up to post vacancies". Candidates have full control over their own recruitment process; they are guided through a series of questions to create their anonymous 'Headhuntme profile and CV' which, once submitted, is automatically matched to vacancies. The anonymous CV is then sent to recruiters. If they are interested in the profile and, in turn, the candidate interested in the vacancy the personal and contact details are duly released, allowing professionals to further their career without their privacy being compromised. Chris continues; "We have built Headhuntme.co.uk exclusively for the busy professional, so no more trawling through job boards and, with the privacy issues addressed, no more job hunting in the public domain. Whilst we cover all sectors we specialise in a growing number of key industry areas including media, financial, property and defence and security."

Credited as 'The definitive public awards within the online recruitment industry', the National Online Recruitment Awards judge entries from the viewpoint of a jobseeker and how well they are benefited. Short listed candidates are announced on the 24th September, with the award ceremony taking place on the 29th October.
