A Grand Day for Grandparents at Abuelo's

Abuelo's celebrates Grandparents Day, Sunday, Sept. 9. The first 250 grandparents who dine at Abuelo's on Grandparents Day will receive a special booklet that includes redeemable monthly certificates for complimentary Abuelo's entrees and children's meals through March 2008.

This Grandparents Day, Abuelo's is honoring grandparents with a special gift full of complimentary food offers valued at $100. The first 250 grandparents who dine at Abuelo's on Sunday, Sept. 9, will receive a special booklet that includes redeemable monthly certificates for complimentary Abuelo's entrees and children's meals through March 2008.

"Abuelo's salutes grandparents and the many contributions they make to their families and the community," said Bob Lin, president of Food Concepts International, Abuelo's parent company. "Since 'abuelos' means 'grandparents' in Spanish, we felt this was a special way to honor grandparents everywhere. This should be a grand day, indeed, for all grandparents."

Abuelo's Grandparents Day promotion will take place at all Abuelo's restaurants. Abuelo's currently has 38 locations nationwide.
