(PRWEB) September 9, 2007 -- Magician Paul Kozak is recognized by Congresswoman Berkley for his community work both inside and outside of show business. Kozak also won the coveted Merlin award this year, as well.
Kozak may be one of the world's busiest magicians but the recent congressional award bestowed upon him by Democratic congresswoman Shelley Berkley shows that he always has time to do good work in the Las Vegas community and help out others in need.
Kozak, who just won the 2007 Merlin Award as International Comedy Magician of the year received the honor Saturday night during a break in The World's Greatest Magic Show, the hit show that he has been hosting at the Greek Isle Casino for the past 5 years. The show itself, also shared in the congressional honor. Kozak, along with his writing and producing partner Michael Bloom have proved to be quite a team when it comes to top notch entertainment projects. Co-creators of POC "The Pussycats of Comedy" and POM, "The Pussycats of Magic", Bloom and Kozak are on the cutting edge of television, movies and live entertainment. Michael Bloom and Paul Kozak are two of a kind. Talented, smart and at the top of their game as two of the brightest lights in Hollywood. But with all the accolades that Kozak has received this past year it is the honor coming from Congresswoman Berkley that has meant the most to him.
"I'm extremely grateful for receiving this award and I will continue to do whatever I can to do positive things in the Las Vegas community and promote good will and great entertainment."
