Shakopee, Minnesota (PRWEB) September 12, 2007
Sever's Corn Maze & Fall Festival, Minnesota's favorite fall get-together, opens for its 11th season September 22nd. Join Sever as he brings the Wild West to Shakopee for more rootin', tootin' family fun than ever before.
For 2007, Sever has grown a maze that's better than ever with dozens of surprising twists and turns through prickly cactus and buckin' broncos. Sever's Corn Maze covers 14 acres of land and is the size of ten football fields. Kids and parents will laugh, scream and run through Sever's Corn Maze every Saturday and Sunday from September 22nd through October 28th. Sever's Corn Maze and Fall Festival will also be open Thursday, October 18th and Friday, October 19th. The event will be open from 11 am to 6 pm on each day of operation.
This year Sever has added new entertainment to the Fall Festival include the amazing illusionist Matt Dunn, new exotic animals from Vogel's Exotic Petting Zoo, and a Giant Slide. Popular attractions returning in 2007 include the world's fastest pig racing competition; pumpkin slinging contests with the huge pumpkin slingshot; live music from the Blue Ox Band; pony rides; and of course, Sever's Famous Corn Pit, where kids of all ages romp in 350 tons of shelled corn across 5000 square feet. Families can jump on a fun Hay Ride, or for an even bigger challenge, try out the world's largest straw bale maze.
Admission to Sever's Corn Maze and Fall Festival is $10 for ages 3 and older and free for children under the age of 3. Sever's Corn Maze and Fall Festival is pleased to offer discounts for groups of 25 or more.
