Two-day event in San Francisco next month will provide practical management training on Strategy Execution, an emerging field of business practice that aligns organizational performance to strategic plans by leveraging Balanced Scorecards. Seminar attendees to include senior executives and managers from Fortune 500 companies, innovative non-profits, high-performing health systems, and results-focused governmental organizations.

Many organizations lack the ability to link strategic plans to effective execution, which results in lost opportunities and sub-par performance. That is why ActiveStrategy, Inc. is inviting executives and managers of a wide-range of organizations to attend a two-day seminar focused on practical ways to execute strategy and improve organizational performance, alignment, and accountability.

This seminar, titled How to Accelerate Results through Strategy Execution is taking place on October 2 and 3, 2007 in San Francisco, CA at the Fairmont Hotel. This well-attended seminar series has been running for three consecutive years and has traveled from coast to coast, with previous stops in Boston, Philadelphia, Miami, and Los Angeles.

Attendees at this seminar will learn how to build strategy maps, create or fine-tune top-level Balanced Scorecards, as well as how to successfully cascade scorecards, linking high-level strategy to various organizational areas for effective deployment. Additional sessions will highlight ways to select the right measures and targets for effective scorecards, how best to allocate resources for improvement projects, how to review scorecards effectively to drive continual focus on strategy execution, and other topics that help an organization drive toward Enterprise Strategy Execution, which occurs when all organizational entities are enabled to understand, contribute toward, and achieve common strategic goals.

The seminar includes separate tracks suited for attendees with varying degrees of experience with the Balanced Scorecard and strategy execution concepts. A newly added track this October highlights the ways in which ActiveStrategy Enterprise software supports the strategy execution methodologies.

Seminar instructors include recognized leaders in the burgeoning strategy execution field with decades of hands-on experience, such as a former examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award and a former Senior Vice President with JP MorganChase Bank. Prior attendees hailed from Fortune 500 companies, innovative non-profits, high-performing health systems, and results-focused governmental organizations.
