Ariadne today announced that Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine has licensed and deployed its Pathway Studio Enterprise software. Pathway Studio Enterprise is used for pathway and microarray data analysis, and also for experiment data storage and a reference database for functional relations in human, rat and mouse.

"First the scientists want the unique and key information harvesting functionality, MedScan, that enables them to update the functional relation database from PubMed as often as every day. Second, they are looking for a commercially supported Gene Set Enrichment analysis (GSEA) platform that allows them to identify pathways affected in their experiments."
