Adacel Awarded Tower Simulator Contract by Canadian Department of National Defence

New contract advances the state-of-the-art of Canadian DND air traffic control simulation.

Orlando, FL (PRWEB) September 12, 2007 -- Adacel, an industry leader in aviation speech recognition technology, software integration, and simulation announced today that the Canadian Department of National Defence (DND) has awarded the Company a contract to upgrade its air traffic control (ATC) tower simulator with Adacel's latest VMAX Visual and NexGen Voice technologies.    

Adacel's VMAX Visual technology provides the DND with the most up-to-date graphic display capabilities while NexGen Voice increases the reliability rate of Adacel's industry leading voice recognition system. This installation ensures that the DND is training with the latest simulation technologies available.

The simulator is located at the "Canadian Forces School of Aerospace Control (CFSACO)" which is part of the NAV CANADA Training and Conference Centre in Cornwall, Ontario Canada.

Previously, Adacel announced that it had updated the 90 ATC tower simulators at various United States Air Force facilities around the world and will continue to support and upgrade these simulators on an ongoing basis.
