Etelos, the leader in on-demand, distributed-anywhere applications, announces several additions to its executive team and a new office in Silicon Valley. These additions are a result of the growing demand for the Etelos Application Server™ platform and the applications available through the Etelos Marketplace™. The new office is now officially open.

The past six months has seen more than 6,000 accounts representing over 36,500 users experience the diverse applications available to businesses of any size through the Etelos Marketplace. Popular applications such as Etelos CRM for Google Apps, Etelos Server for Google Apps, iPhone, Windows Live, Pageflakes and Netvibes as well as Etelos Community Manager and numerous e-commerce applications are all available to businesses at http://www.etelos.com/marketplace.
In addition to the end user growth, Etelos has seen a 200 percent increase in Web developers registering to develop Applications that they can distribute and sell through the Marketplace.
To help guide this growth, Etelos has brought on Jeffrey L. Garon as President and CEO. Garon brings more than 25 years of senior leadership to Etelos, including executive leadership positions at Kaufman Bros., L.P., Tripath Technology, Silicon Storage Technology, Inc., Monster Cable Products, Oracle, Ashton-Tate and as President of The Garon Financial Group, a venture consulting and venture capital firm.

Jeffrey L. Garon - President & Chief Executive Officer
Jeffrey brings more than 25 years of senior financial, strategic and operating expertise to Etelos, including prior service as VP/CFO of Debtor Tripath Technology, Inc. Most recently, Jeff was Managing Director of investment banking responsible for all West Coast activities at Kaufman Bros., L.L.C. Prior to Tripath, he served as CFO/VP of Finance and Administration and Secretary of Silicon Storage Technology, Inc. and VP/CFO of Monster Cable Products, Inc.; and as President of the Garon Financial Group, Inc., a Silicon Valley venture capital and venture consulting firm. Previously, he held various senior financial positions with Visual Edge Technology, Inc, Oracle Corporation, Ashton-Tate Corporation and Teledyne Microelectronics. He is a graduate of California State University, Northridge and has an MBA in International Finance from Loyola Marymount University.
Danny Kolke - Chairman of the Board, Chief Technology Officer & Founder
Danny Kolke founded Etelos in May 1999. It is Danny's vision and energy as the key architect that has driven development of the Etelos Ecosystem. The underlying concepts are embodied in the platform through the Etelos Application Server (EAS), English Application Scripting Engine (EASE), Apps on a Plane (AOP) and the Etelos Marketplace as well as other products such as Etelos CRM for Google Apps and Etelos Server for Google Apps. He has been responsible for the evolution of Etelos, leading the Company from conception to its current status.
Shannon Vanderford - Vice President & Chief Operations Officer
Shannon Vanderford has more than 10 years of extensive corporate leadership. Prior to joining Etelos, he held various executive positions as a turnaround consultant to multiple companies, including Perlego, Ecuity Advanced Communications, Computech Systems, Expanets, and Pacific Legal Companies. He also previously served as VP, Sales of Redapt Systems and VP, Sales of SJI Corporation. He is a graduate of Green River Community College and the Executive Education Program in Finance at Cornell University.
Shelley Symonds - Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer
Shelley has more than 20 years of experience in the technology space. She was vice president of marketing for Satmetrix. Other prior experience includes VP, Marketing at Comergent, Senior Director, Worldwide Marketing at Oracle and a variety of senior product management and marketing positions at The ASK Group/Ingres, Retix, Ashton-Tate and Local Data (Andrew Systems). She is a graduate of University of California, Los Angeles and has an MBA from the University of Southern California.
Kathy Lahaye - Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
Kathy is a Certified Public Accountant [TX] with more than 20 years of accounting and finance experience in high tech. She previously was the Interim CFO and Corporate Controller of the Debtor Tripath Technology Inc. She also previously served as Finance Manager of Atmel Corp., Corporate Controller of UPEK Inc. and Global Director of Finance & Corporate Controller of SuperH Inc. She also previously held various senior financial positions with STMicroelectronics and Intel, and was a Staff Auditor with Ernst & Whinney. She is a graduate of St. Mary's College of California with a BS in Accounting.
Kennedy Brooks - Vice President & General Counsel
Kennedy is an attorney (CA and DC) with more than 30 years of business and legal experience, primarily in high-tech industries. In addition to years of private law practice in California and Washington, D.C., Kennedy has been a senior executive in companies that have brought in more than $100 million in venture capital investment and counsel in more than 100 closed M&A transactions. He served as the senior legal advisor for MicroAge, Computerland, and USWeb, co-founded Centegy Corp, and served as the COO of Unicess Networks. He is a graduate of the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and the University of Maryland School of Law.
