Boys and Girls Republic to Receive Dynamic Computer's Technical Makeover

Farmington Hills, MI (PRWEB) September 13, 2007 -- Dynamic Computer Corporation today announced that they have selected the Boys and Girls Republic (BGR) as the recipient of their Extreme Tech Makeover.
The process began in June, when Dynamic began looking for a local organization whose technology was not meeting current needs. Organizations submitted applications detailing their existing computer systems, describing their technical shortcomings, and revealing any external pressures driving them to upgrade. After considering many applications, Dynamic selected the Boys and Girls Republic.
Dynamic will provide computers for BGR's staff offices in residential buildings. To date, the residential buildings have not had computers, and staff members have either waited to borrow them in another building, or performed work entirely on paper. "We are glad to have the opportunity to work with Boys and Girls Republic," said Dynamic President and CEO Farida Ali. "We believe the addition of this technology will ease the flow of information among BGR staff, and therefore create more time for them to work directly with the youth in their care."
These improvements have long been part of Boys and Girls Republic's plans, but funding is limited, and BGR directs most of its resources directly into providing programs and services for youth. BGR is a member of the Farmington Hills Chamber of Commerce, and learned about Dynamic's Tech Makeover through the Chamber's announcement.
