BioSculpture Technology, Inc. has worked to make field repairs much more efficient through their multicore cable connector assembly system eliminating the necessity of individually soldered electrical circuits and separate gas connections.

The system features a single button, quick connect and disconnect male and female connectors. These connectors are capable of carrying two fluidic channels with a burst of strength of 300 PSI and 8 electrical circuits, two of which are suitable for RF signals. In keeping the system convenient to use the company says, "The connectors are keyed and clearly marked in contrasting color for rapid alignment." In addition, the male and female connectors mate with special strain relief and shrouds that allow cable assemblies to be environmentally sealed.
