Boulder, CO (PRWEB) September 14, 2007
Since the migration to a new Nokia R4 switch in October of 2006, Convey Wireless has been focused on providing value-added GSM services to its customers. The new switch brings significant enhancements in performance and reliability to Convey's wireless network, and provides new services, including GPRS and Voice. In addition, Convey's agreements with national wireless carriers provides superior coverage in the U.S.
"This is an exciting time for our company as we focus on the roll-out of new and enhanced wireless services. Our company is committed to supporting key vertical market segments that are currently underserved by the incumbent carriers and their resellers. We strive to create win-win scenarios for our customers by providing them with reliable, cost-effective communications services that are customized to their needs. These key segments include Machine-to-Machine (M2M), Post-Paid Voice, and Pre-Paid Voice and Data," indicated Mr. William Becker, CEO of Convey Wireless.
The M2M market and its various segments, including but not limited to Automated Vehicle Location (AVL), Asset Management, Fleet Management, Mobile Resource Management, Security, Point Of Sale, and Automated Meter Reading, are increasingly requiring low cost data solutions and Voice capabilities for secondary and emergency communications. Currently, Convey is partnering with various component, device, and turnkey solution providers to create pre-tested solutions for customers.
"We have customers that are already leveraging the benefits of our solutions and new customers coming on board that want to take advantage of our pricing and business flexibility. Most of these customers are also partnering with us so that we can help them overcome some of their issues and enhance our operations model, thereby creating a win-win scenario," commented Mr. Mistry, VP of Sales.
Various opportunities are emerging in the Post-Paid Voice market; opportunities for which Convey is in a unique position to provide superior value. "We are starting to get significant interest from VoIP service providers and Wireless PBX suppliers for Dual Mode Service. In addition, there are various sub-segments in the traditional Post Paid Voice market that are currently under served by our competitors and customers are engaging with us to develop and implement solutions. We are supportive of the new and creative go-to-market solutions being developed by our customers and we are extremely pleased to be a part of the solution," added Mr. Mistry.
The Pre-Paid Voice and Data market is a very large opportunity with some very lucrative segments. Customer partnerships are already being formed with a target launch in November of 2007. "We have developed some Voice and Data solutions that will help our customers cost-effectively enter and succeed in these segments," elaborated Mr. Mistry.
"I really like Convey's SMS, GPRS, and Voice Pricing. It allows me to offer a broader solution to my AVL customers and increase my competitive advantage. Their ability to roam on multiple networks in the US helps me to provide a superior level of coverage for my customers. I also like the fact that Convey created the Asset Management Solution (AMS) which allows entry into the Buy Here/Pay Here market for vehicles and assets. We are looking for partners like Convey that can help our business grow," commented Mr. Jorge Carvajal, CEO of Secure Tracking Systems.
