The Kubit2me idea materialized when game inventor Mary Kay Russell created a game for her son to play at his school: "In 2003, I created the first prototype of Kubit2me and used it for a reading comprehension game for my son's 4th-grade after-school book club. The kids had a blast as they took turns tossing Kubit2me to each other, pulling question cards from the pockets, and discussing the book. The smiling faces and willingness to open up during the game was all I needed to realize that Kubit2me had an amazing potential for fun."
Entrepreneurs Mary Kay Russell and her husband Brad started the company from the ground up and now continue to manage Kubit2me, Inc., where their goals are to develop fun, stimulating games for people of all ages.. They created Kubit2me to do just that. They want to change the way people play games.
Mary Kay offers her opinion: "In today's world, children's main source of entertainment comes through computer games, video games, hand-held devices and other forms of screen-based recreation presented at break-neck speeds. What we're trying to do with our game is to bring back face-to-face communication and active social interaction."

The Kubit2me Lil' Scholars game provides stimulating, socially charged entertainment for younger kids, while helping them experience the fun of learning as Kubit2me's colorful plush cube is tossed from player to player. Cards and game ideas focus on letter and word recognition, number recognition and sequencing, body parts and emotions.
Kubit2me Now You're Talkin' edition is a fun, socially charged group game where thought-provoking questions get tossed from player to player. Game questions focus on beliefs, opinions, relationships, memories, fantasies and almost any topic that affects everyday lives.
The Truth or Dare version of Kubit2me was crafted to specifically address a void in the girl tween and teen market. Composed of a brightly colored cube in four color choices with denim accents, provocative questions and accessory-related play, the Truth or Dare version is designed perfectly to appeal to the social network behavior of tween and teen girls.
