We are pleased to work with Nortel to provide seamless interoperability of our respective solutions and to help further facilitate the growing VoIP industry for both the enterprise and service provider markets.
Sherbrooke, Quebec (PRWEB) September 17, 2007
Nortel and Mediatrix Telecom, the leader in Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) access devices and gateways, have completed joint interoperability tests verifying the compatibility of Mediatrix' VoIP gateway and access device solutions with Nortel's application and communication server solutions. This product compatibility enables mutual Mediatrix and Nortel Networks customers to seamlessly operate both solutions together in any telecommunications network environment.
The interoperability events tested Mediatrix 4100 Series of VoIP Access Devices, in both the SIP and MGCP Protocols, with Nortel's Release SN09 of the Communication Server 2000 (CS 2000). The SIP version was also tested with the Nortel Application Server 5200(AS 5200). The same test success has been achieved for the Mediatrix 1100 Series gateways using both SIP and MGCP Protocols
