Erupt into Life! is a transformational retreat for women being offered from November 29 to December 2, 2007 in magical El Valle, Panama, situated in a dormant volcano. This remote eco-location is Panama's well-kept secret getaway and is home to the rare species of golden frogs and a variety of selddom seen birds. Surrounded by rain forest, the participants will spend four days and three nights in a secluded inn booked exclusively for this group. The retreat is designed to help them rediscover their dreams and connect with other women through shared activities and experiences.
"Professional women are true multi-taskers, capable of great achievements in the workplace, raising families, acquiring homes, cars and all the other external things we associate with success. Constantly on the run, we take care of everyone else and end up feeling empty and out of touch with our true selves," said Jamuna Burry, professional life coach and part of the mindful team running the retreat. "We want to help these women find the joy in their lives and seize opportunities they may have missed in their overcrowded schedules."
Changing your life requires an internal shift in attitude, according to Burry, a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach who received her training through the Coaches Training Institute. She describes finding that core self as similar to navigating by the North Star. In sailing, as in life, she points out, if your course is even one degree off, you can arrive at a completely different coast. Consciously choosing who and how you want to be allows you to chart your own course and arrive at the most fulfilling life.
"Jamuna's coaching helped me focus on my goals and accomplish them," said writer, Erin McMullan. "And it was great knowing I had someone behind me, encouraging me. It was like having my own personal cheerleader."
Burry is joined by fellow Coaches Training Institute graduate, Tara Russell. Founder and President of Three Month Visa Coaching and Consulting, a San Francisco-based practice, Russell is an avid traveler and believer in the rejuvenating effects of "taking time off".
This exclusive retreat is limited to 10 participants with registration closing on October 15, 2007. A pre-retreat discovery session provided to each attendee will help this coaching team fine-tune the program. "It's completely organic, tailored to needs of the women who join us," concluded Burry.
