New Training Video Targets 61% of Advertisers Who Manage AdWords Campaigns In-House today announced the release of 'The Keyword Marketer's Google AdWords Training Workshop' on DVD.

Designed to meet the needs of beginner-intermediate level users, the 3 hour workshop features step-by-step 'how-to' instruction, strategies and tips for DIY advertisers ... the first time such information has been published on DVD.

According to Google, more than 5,000 new advertisers sign up to use the AdWords platform every month, and a Q1 2007 Online Marketing Benchmark Survey by Forrester Research found that 61% of those advertisers wind up managing their campaigns in-house.

The DVD's producer, Gary Elley, said that "the goal of this video is to provide a complete end to end look at the steps and considerations involved in mounting a successful AdWords campaign, and goes well beyond what you'll find in the Google Help Center."

He went on to say that "while there are many articles and resources on this topic available on the web, and several books, many SMB business owners don't have the time or inclination to trawl through information of this type in a written format. They'd rather have it delivered as a video presentation they can watch on television from the comfort of their couch."

The presentation starts by looking at why small - medium sized business owners should consider advertising with AdWords, then shows how to set up an account and place an initial ad. After the basics comes detail on how to structure campaigns, how to research, select and target keywords, how to optimize bidding, track results and much more.

The video also covers the use of several interesting software tools found only on the publisher's web site. These include BudgetMate (a pay-per-click campaign budgeting tool), CouponMate (used to create instant web coupons for tracking web-2-store conversions) and PhraseMate (a keyword phrase generator).
