Veteran Trial Lawyer Joins Fleming Firm
Sam Palermo, a veteran civil trial lawyer with more than 20 years experience has joined the Michael P. Fleming, P.C. law firm, the firm's founder said this week.
Houston, TX (PRWEB) September 19, 2007 -- Sam Palermo, a veteran civil trial lawyer with more than 20 years experience has joined the Michael P. Fleming, P.C. law firm, the firm's founder said this week.
"Sam brings an added dimension to the firm," said Michael P. Fleming, who started the firm that carries his name in 2002. "We're happy he's here and know his experience will serve our clients well and help us continue our tradition of excellence."
Palermo has practiced in state and federal courts in Texas and other states. He has successfully represented clients in cases involving maritime disasters, construction accidents and land and offshore rig accidents. He's also handled cases involving offshore platform explosions, contract disputes and fraud claims.
Palermo has worked at prestigious firms and is a former law clerk to the Honorable Ross N. Sterling, United States District Judge for the Southern District of Texas. Palermo is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is a regular speaker and author for Continuing Legal Education programs.
He's been a National Institute of Trial Advocacy faculty member at the University of Houston College of Law and is a past Director of the Houston Trial Lawyer Association and a past Associate Director or the Texas Trial Lawyers Association. Palermo is an AV rated trial lawyer by Martindale-Hubbell. He and his wife, Dena, have two daughters.
Fleming, a former Harris County Attorney, has been practicing law in Houston for more than 19 years. Before forming the Michael P. Fleming law firm in 2002, he was partner in the litigation section of Bracewell & Patterson, L.L.P., which is now Bracewell & Giuliani.
