In this role, Ellis will ensure Verifications’ Substance Abuse Services continue to exceed high operational standards while responding to market and client needs.

Ellis brings deep industry knowledge and more than 30 years of experience to his role as the leader of Verifications’ Substance Abuse Services team. For more than 15 years Ellis operated a nationally respected Medical Review Officer and third party administrator firm for both federally regulated and non-regulated employers. Most recently, Ellis served as a Senior Policy Advisor for Drug and Alcohol Program Policy and Compliance in the Office of the Secretary of Transportation. In addition, he spent nine years in senior positions in the treatment of drug and alcohol dependent military personnel.
