CelebPoker.com Converts from US Dollars to the Euro from the 1st October 2007

On 1st October 2007 BOSS Media network, the poker software provider to CelebPoker.com, will be changing its currency from US Dollars to Euros.

London, UK (PRWEB) September 28, 2007 -- With the US market closed and the majority of players on the network based across Europe, this is seen as a positive move that will be great for CelebPoker and its players - the Euro is a much stronger currency than the Dollar at the moment, giving players the chance to effectively win a lot more money.

During the conversion, CelebPoker have advised that any disruptions to their players will be kept to a minimum. The switch will be implemented between 30th September and 1st October and it is anticipated that players may experience some problems accessing the site. All player accounts, pending bonuses, buy-ins and prize pools will be shown in Euros as of this date. Poker tables within the software will still offer a variety of currencies but deposit and withdrawal transactions will only be processed in Euros.

The exchange rate to be used for the currency changeover is from the European Central Bank.
