HUD Speaker to Discuss Financial Education in Subprime Mortgage Markets at Annual Conference on Financial Education
The 2007 Annual Conference on Financial Education will present discussion of proposed financial education mandates in the subprime mortgage markets, as well as how such education can help subprime borrowers.
Portland, ME (PRWEB) September 24, 2007 -- The Institute for Financial Literacy is pleased to announce two new speakers for its 2007 Annual Conference on Financial Education to be held in Dallas, Texas, on October 3-5.
Danberry Carmon of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) will present "The Role of Financial Education in the Subprime Mortgage Market." In this timely presentation, Mr. Carmon will discuss how financial education can assist consumers in the subprime mortgage market as well as review recent attempts to mandate such financial education.
Cynthia E. Nevels, Founder and Executive Director of the Jr. Finance Literacy Academy, Inc., will present "Developing Trends in Investor Education." Ms. Nevels will discuss the importance of Investor Education, as well as recent trends and available funding sources.
