Early Learning Centre Introduce New range of Classic Wooden Toys

Early Learning Centre launch their latest range of classic toys made with wood from sustainable sources.

(PRWEB) September 23, 2007 -- Early Learning Centre has introduced a new range of classic toys made with wood from sustainable sources. Chunky shapes to clunk, wooden beads to spin, smooth animals to match and a sturdy horse to rock. All these toys and many others in the classics range carry the FSC © stamp of approval.

The new Early Learning Centre Busy Bead Table (http://www.elc.co.uk/toy-42803), has chunky beads to spin and push around four intriguing frames. A bright, sturdy rocking horse, with a friendly smile is a welcome addition to this range and will make the ideal Christmas gift for a toddler. The new Shape Sorter, is a smooth wooden cube with 12 chunky shapes for children to slot in. The corner twists to release the side so children can retrieve the blocks, or simply post them in the side for fun.

The new wooden Post Box, comes with several colourful wooden letters that pop in the post box, only to be discovered when the door is opened. The timeless classic Wooden Rainbow Stacker, is a playroom essential. Children always enjoy stacking and sorting the seven colourful chunky discs on the pole.

For budding mathematicians, the Chunky Stacking Blocks (http://www.elc.co.uk/toy-42807), are the perfect gift, with huge painted numbers. The five blocks stack up into a tall tower and nest neatly together when children have finished playing.

A truly mobile phone for any toddler to play with is the wooden Pull Along Phone. This toy is great for encouraging walking. Children can turn the dial, pick up the phone and have a chat whenever they like.

The sturdy Wooden Pull Cart (http://www.elc.co.uk/toy-42986), is a colourful cart with eight chunky blocks. Children can pull it across the room then build wherever they like. Great for discovering how shapes work.

The Wooden Trike 'n' Trailer (http://www.elc.co.uk/toy-34605), continues to be a classic best seller and is great for use both indoors and out. Children can take their favourite toys on an adventure or simply trundle around the garden on this lovely trike.

All these and many more are available from www.elc.co.uk or any of the stores nationwide.
