Haggerston Castle Holiday Park, which is located close to Berwick-upon-Tweed in Northumberland was given the several honours in the awards. As well as winning a Gold Award for outstanding customer service, Haggerston Castle Caravan was names as runner up for the title of Caravan Park of The Year.
Haven Holiday's commitment to the environment was also recognised when the park came third in the rankings for a special Sustainable Tourism Award. This reflected the changes that have been put in place at the holiday park in Northumberland and at other Haven holiday parks across the UK to embrace ways in which the business can minimise its environmental impact.
