SBS Development is proud to announce the eagerly awaited release of XL-DBQuery Version 1.5. XL-DBQuery is a powerful add-in for Microsoft Excel that makes it easy for users to Query data from virtually any source using Microsoft Excel. Unlike Excel's built-in "MS Query" function, XL-DBQuery offers an intuitive query syntax that lets users build complex queries, without having to master SQL (Structured Query Language).

Rather than forcing analysts to learn new skills, XL-DBQuery builds on the Excel skills that many users already have. XL-DBQuery’s simple and intuitive interface makes analysts self-reliant and no longer dependent upon data specialists or IT professionals to help them with their data needs.

XL-DBQuery's main strength lies in the way that it builds queries. The software examines the user's queries, and constructs assumptions about the data being analyzed. XL-DBQuery understands the common AND/OR logic errors that many users make, and builds the correct query syntax. This results in assembled queries that reflect the user's requirements.

XL-DBQuery gives users the freedom to join and merge data from different data sources. Users can export data to Excel as standard row/column reports, or multi-dimensional Excel pivot table reports for dynamic analysis of data. Users can even refresh exported query results directly from Excel.

XL-DBQuery caters for novice Excel users who need to perform complex data analysis and reporting on corporate-wide data and experienced data analyst’s who need to create complex queries quickly and easily.

XL-DBQuery works with Excel 2000 and newer. The Professional Edition costs a very modest $169(US) for a single-user license, and may be purchased securely online from http://www.xl-dbquery.com/. The Standard Edition, at $129(US), is designed for users who do not need to connect to external data sources, join databases together, or work with the SQL Scratch Pad.

A 15 day Trial of the Professional Edition is available to download @ http://www.xl-dbquery.com/downloads/xl-dbqueryv1.zip
