All three Class Champions from the 2006 Summit Point event will be returning: Alex Grabau of Dent Sport Garage in his Mitsubishi Evolution has stepped up to the Unlimited All Wheel Drive division, DTM Motorsports of Dulles, Virginia in both Modified Class and Unlimited Class with their stable of Mitsubishi Evolutions and the JIC Magic/Hankook Tires Nissan S-15 Silvia in the Unlimited Class. The competition will be intense as a number of other companies and drivers look to dethrone the reigning champs and shatter the existing lap records.

AMS Performance of Chicago, Illinois, coming off back-to-back Event Championships in Montreal and St. Louis is primed to give JIC Magic a run for their money. New comers Top Speed of Alpharetta, Georgia in their Subaru Brighton looked strong in St Louis with their new car and has since made significant changes adding yet more speed. Chris Rado makes a return in his Unlimited Class Scion tC, a car that has a legitimate chance at the Overall Championship title.
