Collaborative technologies in the communications industry like MS OutlookTM have the potential to truly change the way businesses operate, but the missing piece from a business perspective is seamless communication integration to any environment. Richmond Hill, Ontario (PRWEB) September 25, 2007
Esna Technologies Inc. (Esnatech) today announced it has added MS Outlook2007TM support to its market leading Telephony Office-LinX unified communication platform version 7.0.
As part of its ongoing goal for interoperability and to offer the most integrations in the market, Telephony Office-LinX has integrated its rich presence, advance mobility, and unified messaging with Microsoft's Outlook2007's Calendar, Contacts and inbox. Users of the Telephony Office-LinX platform will have advance presence, mobility and messaging features embedded directly within their MS Outlook client.
Users can automatically change call forwarding and voice mail greetings directly from their MS outlook Calendar as well define voicemail greetings and call filtering rules based on their Outlook Contact list. From their inbox they can seamlessly send voice, fax or e-mail messages to any user without leaving their MS Outlook 2007 interface.
"Collaborative technologies in the communications industry like MS OutlookTM have the potential to truly change the way businesses operate, but the missing piece from a business perspective is seamless communication integration to any environment. The Telephony Office-LinX platform extends Outlook integration into any organization to be a full e-mail, fax and telephony solution," said Davide Petramala, Vice President Sales & Marketing Esnatech. "The Telephony Office-LinX platform acts as a glue that bridges communication devices to Groupware solutions such as MS exchangeTM and MS Outlook2007TM; once again Esnatech demonstrates this fact and illustrates the value of Unified Communications."
MS Outlook2007TM support is part of version 7.0 service pack 3 release of Telephony Office-LinX. Esnatech has completed successful beta trials and will make it generally available to its partners in October 2007.
Not only do outlook 2007 users have fully integrated Mobility Messaging and presence tools, but MS Exchange 2007 users can fully access their inbox, custom folders & contacts directly over the phone with no internet access. Through basic phone connections users can navigate their exchange 2007 account and manage their daily inbox directly over the phone for seamless anywhere access.
